About Us

Kirkhill Krew started up in September 2006, and meets at Kirkhill Primary School on Wednesday nights in term time. It is a youth group for pupils in secondary school who live in the Kirkhill and Bunchrew area. We have a large games halls where we play football, hockey, badminton and other games, and also a room where we can play pool, darts, board games, and do arts and crafts. Sometimes, we invite people in to do stuff like Taekwondo, dance, drumming, football and music with us. At other times, we go out on trips - like Fairburn Activity Centre and Rollerbowl, or do baking or cooking. Althrough there is usually lots going on, you can just hang out with your friends and there is a caf which is run by the members.

Kirkhill Krew wouldn't survive without our wonderful volounteer leaders, and funding from organisations like Awards for All, Co-op Community Fund and Youth Bank. We are also affliated to, and supported by Youth Highland.

We are always on the lookout for new leaders, so if you are interested, or would like more information about Kirkhill Krew, please contact us throuhgh the contact page.
